Biography

I am currently Senior Lecturer in Internet of Things within the School of Information Technology at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.

I am an academic researcher in the Networking and Telecommunications & Cyber-Physical Systems lab within the Centre for Internet of Things ECOsystems Research and Experimentation (CITECORE), and I co-lead the “Next-generation IoT communications infrastructure, analytics and intelligence” research program at Deakin.

I received my Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, under the primary supervision of Professor Grenville Armitage and A/Prof Philip Branch. My PhD research was industrially funded by Netflix, Inc. Prior to joining Deakin, I was affiliated with the Centre for Advanced Internet Architectures (CAIA) and the Internet For Things Research Group at Swinburne.
